Our Mission

The Grant Bowl Community Coalition is a group of parents and community members dedicated to obtaining equitable athletic facilities for Grant High School students at the Grant Bowl.

The Grant Bowl Community Coalition Exists to:

  • Secure a long-term lease from Portland Parks so PPS can immediately fix the Grant Bowl turf and reopen it for student-athletes. ***DONE***

  • Fundraise for lights at the Grant Bowl.

  • Implement the Grant Bowl Master Plan to build a permanent home field for our Grant Generals to practice + play home games in front of their home crowd while also ensuring community access to the Bowl.

  • Eliminate missed hours of class + homework time commuting to other fields for practice + home games.
